1 lb hamburger
5 cups peeled, and cubed into 1" potatoes
8 cups water
1 onion chopped
5-6 beef bullion cubes
1- 28oz can crushed tomatoes
1 tsp crushed red peppers( add a little more if you like it spicey)
salt to taste about a teaspoon or less.
Brown
hamburger in a large saucepan. This makes a little over 2 quarts. Drain
the fat from the burger, then in the pan add everything but the salt.
Add salt as desired (omit if preferred) Let come to a boil on high then
turn down to medium and boil until the potatoes are tender. Serve with
Saltines or a roll.
Very yummy and fast to make. Less than 30 minutes.
